Conscious Travel / Green Travel
The most environmental friendly way to get around AdventureSweden is by bike. Naturally that will take some time since the area is the size of the Netherlands… But if you have the time we guarantee you the experience of a lifetime!
There is constant work on building a network for fueling electric cars within the province, check out a map here.
Traveling in winter by car means you need to come prepared for emergencies. There is a chance of meeting a moose or a reindeer in a way less pleasant. Drive carefully and make sure your tires are for winter purposes. Also make sure you bring the proper car kit just in case: shovel, warm clothing, portable jumpstarter, blankets, flashlight, traction devices, first aid kit, signal device, tow straps, tool kit, spare tire and jack, food & water and perhaps even some entertainment in case you need towing.
Also check out travelling by public bus or train.
