Funäsfjällen

A greater experience in the true mountains

Welcome to Scandinavia’s geographically largest ski area, located in the western part of beautiful Härjedalen. Funäsfjällen comprises classic destinations such as Funäsdalen, Ramundberget, Tänndalen, and Bruksvallarna. Here, a world-class alpine adventure awaits with six different ski resorts accessible on a single lift pass, combined with over 300 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails.

In summer, the area transforms into a paradise for hiking, cycling, and fishing in more than 200 mountain lakes. Discover the rich culture at the Härjedalen Mountain Museum, visit the unique Musk Ox Center in Tännäs, or enjoy the historical charm of Sweden’s oldest mountain hotel in Fjällnäs. Here, you are in the heart of vast reindeer-grazing lands with nature right at your doorstep.

Getting here is easy by car, bus, or by air (airports: Röros, Sveg, Åre Östersund, or Trondheim Værnes) and train (Röros or Rätan).

Visit Funäsfjällen – where the mountain world feels largest and adventure feels real.
